Explores the employment and independent market for multimedia professionals, including job qualifications for various positions in small to large organizations, as well as the general business environment for multimedia production. Provides an overview and opportunity to apply methods and practices used in finding and obtaining employment in the multimedia industry. Prerequisite/concurrent: MM 130 and MM 140 or instructor permission. Audit available. Students who successfully complete this course will have a job marketing portfolio that will include but not limited to: 1) promotional materials such as business cards, web page, etc., 2) job contracts, bids, and proposals,3) copyright guidelines, and 4) entrepreneurial capabilities.
