Explores the post-production process for non-linear editing of digital video for use in video production and multimedia applications. Focuses on industry standard editing software to develop the foundation grammar of editing including continuity and montage principles. Prerequisite: MM 130 or instructor permission. Audit available. Students who successfully complete this course will be able to prepare digital video for use in disk based applications. Optimizing digital video for the World Wide Web will also be addressed.
